I'm so glad you posted this. I've been allowing people to make me feel guilty for not making "black art" or drawing more black people. I would love to draw more people who look like me but as you said that's not where the market is. I've yet to get a commission from anyone black. Not even from friends and family who *ask* to see my recent work when they visit. Glad to know I'm not alone.
