The underground hip hop artist who take their time to feel music and make love to the paper with words, need to come to the forefront. But kids now days won't listen... They are too busy Listening to the beats, and screamin' O Let's Do It... andi don't even sound like they sayin it...lolKasualWhispershttp://www.twitter.com/KasualWhispersnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2215875708392821426.post-64808959543251295802010-01-25T12:03:48.449-08:002010-01-25T12:03:48.449-08:00This was an awesome read!! I was on amazon earlier ordering lots of old music from when music made you think about real stuff. The music now days does just what you said, "make you shake ur butt"...I do admit, I am guilty lol But as long as labels keep signing these types of artists and people continue to buy and support it, that's all we will have to listen to. You should start a record label for REAL artists!! They are still out here...just a thought :-) Thanks again for getting my mind going...EeshBeeshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18186023983102993077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2215875708392821426.post-49493796048520955402010-01-25T09:24:22.783-08:002010-01-25T09:24:22.783-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2215875708392821426.post-48978482181049694122010-01-25T09:24:21.805-08:002010-01-25T09:24:21.805-08:00as I read this Im listening to India Arie.."I...as I read this Im listening to India Arie.."I am ready for love".. and realize the things I am ready for have always been within my reach, I just wasnt ready for them, due to fear.. her song just hit me last week.. working alone in my office listening TRULY to what she was saying to me.. making me realize that like she said "they say watch what you ask for cause you might receive... but if you ask me tomorrow I'll say the same thing...I am ready"... Im feeding myself the opportunity to allow myself to finally receive and HAVE all I have always been ready for, but to scared to pursue.. simple thinking only becomes simple when you're ready to finally hear your own thoughts with clarity, and this is what music does for ME. It helps me hear my thouhgts better while I listen to the words they express to me, and open up their thoughts thru their lyrics.<br />~S~Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2215875708392821426.post-41741324134149967782010-01-25T07:42:31.050-08:002010-01-25T07:42:31.050-08:00I feel the same way. Classic music is classic because it lasts & can still hold you in its embrace.Corsettehttp://www.twitter.com/Corsettenoreply@blogger.com
